After nearly 11 hours of play, the first ever Poker Dream Vietnam Main Event champion has emerged with VSOP’s Minh A Nguyen defeating Brandon Koh with a flush over pocket Aces. He shipped the â‚«3,378,000,000 (~$137,700) first prize and the brand’s custom golden dragon trophy. Congratulations to the champ!

The river 4s Nguyen checked again, Koh bet 2M, Nguyen jammed his 13M stack that well covered Koh who tanked for a long time then finally opted to risk it. Hojin Kim has been on the attack since the start of the day but still found himself way behind the big stacks. He was all in twice within five minutes, got called, went up then went broke in 10th place to miss the final table.

The first hand was all in for his last 6 BB with Ac2s, chip leader Manh Huu Nguyen called with Qs7c. The board was blank for a double up over 1.3M.

Minutes late he jammed from the utg with Kc9c, the leader Nguyen snapped on the big blind with a commanding AsKh, the board ran 9d{8hKs for two pair to Kim which held on the turn Js but the river Ah switched them back up for a higher two pair to Nguyen. On a board 6hKs3cJc2c, Yu bet the turn, Nguyen called, one player folded. The river Yu bet 2200 into 12.2k pot, Nguyen called. Yu had KcQs, Nguyen mucked.

Next hand, Yu limped from utg, Jack Risk raised to 1200, Yu three-bet to 9800, Jack Risk shoved, instant fold and show AdJd by Yu.
