After nearly 11 hours of play, the first ever Poker Dream Vietnam Main Event champion has emerged with VSOP’s Minh A Nguyen defeating Brandon Koh with a flush over pocket Aces. He shipped the ₫3,378,000,000 (~$137,700) first prize and the brand’s custom golden dragon trophy. Congratulations to the champ!

Kim Hyung Sup had just nursed back to health on a double up off Tiger Lee then lost it all to Hojin Kim. Hand opened with a raise of 6k from Lee, Hyung Sup called, Hojin three-bet to 18k, Lee tank-folded, Hyung Sup jammed and Hojin snap called. Hyungsup had Ace-Queen, Hojin pocket Kings, no bad beat arrived for Hojin to ship it and Hyung Sup to ship out. Hojin catapulted to over 300k and may have just taken over the chip lead.

Thai Duong Ho Vo’s stack has been swinging lately but always staying above average. We caught a couple of her hands. The first one ended on a split with Yip Ka Chuen with both player showing Ace-King. The board was , Thai bet the flop and river and Chuen called.

On the next hand, she bluff bet the river and was snap-called by Dhaval Mudgal. Thai showed , big bilnd Mudgal with two pair. Thai dropped to 112k, Mudgal chipped up to 220k.

Easy money for Lester Edoc who called Minae Jung’s shove and dominated throughout. Jung had that missed the board completely for Edoc’s 10h good to take down a player and the pot. Edoc rises to 67k.

Raiden Kan and Benjamin Lai were staring down a board , Kan bet 2k and Lai check-called. On the river , Kan bet 11k, Lai tank-called it them mucked when Kan showed . Kan up to 48k.

Heavy preflop betting started with a limp, raised to 1100 by Florencio Campomanes, was called by one, the a player three-bet to 5500, back to the limper who called, then Campomanes five-bet to 16.1k. Much too much, two players folded while the initial limper called. At the flop 10s , Campomanes shoved and got called. He showed and was shocked to see he was ahead of his caller’s . The turn improved the lesser hand, the river sent Campomanes back out front to ship it and climb to 70k.

Three-way pot raised pot saw a flop drop . Action was checked to the button Luong Van Quang who sent out a 1600 bet. Small blind Aigars Plivcs folded, big blind Jack En Ching Wu raised to 6300, Quang called. The turn was checked, the river , Wu check-folded to Quang’s 6900 bet. Quang showed 10d to scoop up the pot and rise to 70k.

On a board , Yu bet the turn, Nguyen called, one player folded. The river Yu bet 2200 into 12.2k pot, Nguyen called. Yu had , Nguyen mucked.

Next hand, Yu limped from utg, Jack Risk raised to 1200, Yu three-bet to 9800, Jack Risk shoved, instant fold and show by Yu.

On the flop , big blind Phan bet 2k, utg+1 Lee raised to 4k, two players folded, back to Phan with a call. No bets seen on the turn , the river , Phan bet 7k, Lee called, Phan had and collected the pot to rise to 44k. Lee dropped to 13k.

Immediately after, Phan lost a little to Lee who limped from utg then called Phan’s raise to 600. On a board , Phan bet 600 on the flop, no bets on the turn, Lee sent 1k on the river, Phan folded.

Early action sees KMGM’s Lee Seok Young aka Tiger Lee and Junhee Kim win pots. At table 1, Lee and Tran Hoai Anh stared a board that completed 10c . Tran bet the turn and both checked the river. Tran had , Lee won the sizable 11.6k pot with 10h higher two pair.

At table 4, Kim raised to 200 from mid position, down the orbit Pham Tien Dung three-bet to 1200, called by the small blind, back to Kim who fired a 3200 four-bet, both Pham and the small blind folded.
